Our Cottages

Experience our Island of fun

Prince Edward Island really does offer activities for all interests, and because all points are easily within reach in our province, the choice is yours. In the summertime our beaches are unmatched, and our golf greens welcome players of all skill levels from across the globe. In fact, we’re one of the world’s premier golf destinations. Walk, run or cycle all or part of The Confederation Trail, a network of trails that connects the entire Island.

Cycling in PEI

Go deep-sea fishing, visit a working lighthouse or a fishing village, buy lobster fresh from the wharf, or take in a harness race – a PEI tradition. Experience the Panmure Island Pow-Wow, visit the College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts, or explore our Evangeline Region. For a one-of-a-kind memento, stop by the shop, gallery or studio of an Island artisan. Celtic, classical, jazz, blues, world and contemporary music can be found on stages and venues across the Island, and theatre is everywhere, with festivals of note in Victoria, Georgetown, Summerside, and at the Confederation Centre of the Arts and The Guild in Charlottetown. We’re the “Birthplace of Canada”, the spot where the conference that led to the forming of Canada took place in 1864, and much of that history is on display in Charlottetown. PEI is also home to the Culinary Institute of Canada, and as such, we’re known as “the Food Island”.

PEI Lighthouses

Fresh seafood, traditional and contemporary cuisine, with tastes from around the world that reflect our multicultural identity are on our menus and are featured at our Fall Flavours festival. Many of the activities mentioned offer experiential options for those who prefer a hands-on approach, and as our Island is one of unique natural beauty, it is always poised for that perfect photo.
